The Story
Their back. Bigger, better and still kicking arse while getting themselves into and out of trouble. Who are they? Alex, Natalie and Dylan and they work for Charlie saving the world from mayhem and chaos as they fight the bad guys and gals in this big screen remake of the 70's television series CHARLIES ANGELS. There's plenty of fast paced action, great stunts and fight scenes as the Angels take on the latest assignment from Charlie. The laughs come thick and fast in this campy remake with cheeky appeal. The action starts right from the opening sequence with sky high action in a jumbo jey as the team remove a passenger who has turned himself into a human bomb. There's no rest for the girls and Charlie is soon on the phone when computer genius Eric Knox(Sam Rockwell) is kidnapped in the company car park. There's dirty deeds afoot as the Angels use their charms, beauty, intelligence and hi-tech wizardry to solve the puzzle of why Knox's voice intelligent computer technology has been hijacked. But all is not what it seems as both the Angels and the audience will soon discover. Its a great remake that combines the fun of the 70's with the hi-tech sofistication of the 21st century.
Supporting Stars
Good support here ensures the movie moves along at a fast pace. Tim Curry(Roger Corwin) is very Frank Thringish and is always a joy to watch, unfortunately he has an early exit at the hands of The Thin Man(Crispin Glover) who, while he hasn't much to say, proves to be an evil adversary for both Corwin & the Angels. Bill Murray(Bosley) as the liason between Charlie and his Angels, is always good for a few laughs and fits well into the cast. Tom Green(Road Trip) and Matt LeBlanc(Friends) are a couple of try hard love interests. LeBlancs wooden, non expressive manner fits well up against the beauty and charm of Lucy Liu.

The Verdict
Funky fun, lots of great stunts, heaps of action as the Angels take on the bad, bad guys. What more could you want. Must see........ RATED M
