The Story
There are two things that stand out in Big Momma's House, the patient talent of Martin Lawrence and the fantastic work of the special effects people who convert him into the larger than life Big Momma and on screen there is nothing bigger than Big Momma. This is a story of two FBI agents on a stakeout that they hope will lead them to a heap of cash which has never been recovered from a robbery. Lawrence stars as Malcom Turner while his side kick John is abley played by Paul Giamatti. There is Nia Long as the eventual love interest Sherry and of course the original Big Momma played by Ella Mitchell. All up they form a reasonable cast that delivers a reasonably entertaining movie with plenty of fun and mayhem together with enough laughs to make for middle of the road entertainment. Lawrence is definately the focus of attention in the laughs department as he wickedly flaunts himself as Big Momma.
Theres enough laughs & romance here to keep you entertained RATED M
