"...Hoffman is the man who steals the show. The Academy Award winning actor shows he's willing to get just as goofy as anyone to make the movie funny, and gets plenty of opportunity to do so."

"Hoffman and Streisand...are a wonderful addition to the comedic mix with their relaxed, laid back lifestyle and penchant for randy sex"
Robin Clifford REELING REVIEWS
"The ensemble's giddy chemistry and the addition of perfectly cast topliners Dustin Hoffman and Barbra Streisand should find Fockers entertaining huge crowds for the holidays and beyond."
Sheri Linden HOLLYWOOD REPORTER
"Rather than just humiliate Stiller over and over again, this story actually digs beneath the surface and gives him a distinctive role to play, which he handles perfectly. And the story around him is simply divine--"
Rich Cline SHADOWS ON THE WALL
"In her first screen role since her self-directed turn in 1996's "The Mirror Has Two Faces," Streisand is a sweetly overbearing New Age yenta, while Hoffman, who delivered winning comic work earlier this year in "I Heart Huckabees," is spot-on as a guy who holds nothing back. It's great to see them, along with De Niro and Danner, letting loose in a comedy."
Sheri Linden HOLLYWOOD REPORTER
"Streisand and especially Hoffman are a hoot."
Jill Vejnoska ATLANTA JOURNAL-CONSTITUTION
"Barbra Streisand nicely displays her comic talents, particularly in the scene that has her kneading the kinks out of Jack's back and instructing the CIA retiree on methods of turning on his wife. In the previous story, everyone plays up to Jack Byrnes. This time, the Byrnes have been Fockered."
Harvey S Karten COMPUSERVE
"This is a much better comedy--warm and inventive, with stronger characters and much more engaging interaction. --it's pure joy watching DeNiro, Streisand and especially Hoffman navigate their way through this story, with fine support from Danner and Polo. They're all having great fun, and it shows. And along the way each actor is both hilarious and telling."

"Meet The Fockers made me laugh so hard my stomach started to ache." Willie Waffle WAFFLEMOVIES.COM
"Meet the Fockers". No not Greg [Gaylord] Focker! Greg's mom and dad, Bernie and Roz Focker. The latest additions in this fabulously funny sequel to the 2000 smash hit film, "Meet The Parents". Bernie and Roz Focker are down to earth folks who put family first. Played by multiple Academy Award winners Dustin Hoffman and Barbra Steisand they provide endless laughs and plenty of magic moments throughout the film. The two great actors work so well together you might gey the impression they know each other very well. And you'd be right! They have been good friends for over 40 years. "We went to acting school together, and Dustin was dating my roommate at the time," Barbra recalls. "He was the janitor at the acting school to pay for his classes and I was babysitting for my teacher in exchange for classes." So Barbra, was it fun to work together? "Working with him is really fun," she says, "because we both like to improvise. Like musical rifts, instruments playing around the melody." Stiller says working with the co-stars really felt like family. "It was in the beginning, a surreal experience,"Stiller explains. "Coming to work and seeing De Niro and Hoffman and Steisand on the set together." His initial reaction? "I would just step back and take in the enormity of it" he said. Stiller who has entertained us in films such as "Zoolander", "Starsky & Hutch" and more recently the madcap, zany "Dodgeball" is full of praise for the whole cast. "Dustin and Barbra are so good and commited to the characters, that they had a great connection and it was fantastic to just plug into that." That statement he extended to the entire cast by adding, "I just felt it was a lifetime experience to get to act with these people." All your favourites are back in the sequel including Mr Jinx; Jack, Dina and Pamela Byrnes and of course Gaylord Focker. Besides Roz and Burnie there are new additions including an over sexed dog named Mozes and a toddler named 'Little Jack' who cleverly, communicates with sign language. Rather than spoil the experience of "Meet The Fockers" let me continue on with quotes from the cast and the crew who worked so hard to create this very funny film. Terri Polo recalls the day they spent on location at the Paseo Colorado Mall in Pasadena. "As it turns out paparazzi were everywhere since we were shooting in public and I remember thinking at that moment what a giant star Barbra is, as well as Dustin and Bob. And every day after that I thought what an honor it was for me to be watching these genius actors perform." Polo also revealed what it was like on the set during filming.
"It was insane on the set," she lets slip. "It's like trying to wrangle a bunch of kids. We've been very silly." Robert De Niro says, "Working with Ben again, whose got priceless comic timing, and this great cast, it's been amazing." De Niro's onscreen wife also had a ball. "I have to say revisiting the character has been a ball. And with Barbra and Dustin added to our growing family, it's a little bit like the Marx Brothers on set; one is wackier than the next." For Barbra Streisand appearing in "Meet The Fockers" marks her return to comedy after starring in the 1993 romantic comedy "The Mirror Has Two Faces". Whilst she has appeared in many roles, the last time Streisand appeared in a comedy [prior to 1993] was way back in 1979 when she starred in "The Main Event." It was at Ben Stiller's insistence that she took the role of Roz Focker. "Ben called me from Europe and was very insistent that I should play his mother, so I resigned myself to getting up at five in the morning. And it turned out to be a good decision and a wonderful adventure," she said. This isn't the first time Hoffman has worked with De Niro. "This is the third time I've worked with Bob," the star of the comedy "Tootsie", Dustin Hoffman reveals. On his screen son Gaylord, he had this to say of Stiller, "Ben's comic instincts are sharp as any actor I've ever worked with." And, how big a wrap is this for Hoffman and Streisand? Producer Jane Rosenthal revealed, "Jay met with them, then Ben and Bob called them both up." Ben Stiller was smart enough to realize just how suited to the role of Bernie Focker, Hoffman really was. "In reality, he's a really funny and goofy guy, actually closer to Bernie than some of the famous roles he's played. He's incredibly warm and generous as an actor," Stiller said. Finally, what does Director/Producer Jay Roach think cinemagoers will get out of "Meet The Fockers"? "I think audiences will be very pleased by the balance between what they expect and what they might find surprising, and occasionally very magical, when Robert De Niro and Blythe Danner and Terri Polo meet Barbra Steisand and Dustin Hoffman and Ben Stiller. It's pretty amazing."
