There is so much to see and do in and around the City of Adelaide and the first thing you will discover is that its so easy to get around. Bus, Tram and Train travel is cheap and in the inner city free bus services cater for tourists. Take a ride on the busway or hop on one of the historic trams that run to Jetty Road Glenelg. At the end of the line you will find wonderful shopping centres with every facility. To the north and south of the city are our famous wine regions. To the east the hills are full of charming little towns while on |
| the western side of the city runs an endless coastline with lovely beaches, many with jetties protruding from their shoreline. Adelaide and surrounds are renown for their array of cafes, bistros and award winning restaurants. From the East End on Rundle Street, down at Henley Square, to North Adelaide, Norwood then down to "The Bay" you will not be disappointed. The food, the wine and coffee, is great. In the city its the Hilton, Hyatt, Grosvenor and of course the Adelaide Casino. There is no excuse for not having a great time while in Adelaide and South Australia. |
